The baked fish resembled a McDonald's-style patty. However, the shrimp was very good, and the service was nice. The atmosphere was lacking. There was grass growing in the cracks of the parking lot, and the lawn and shrubs were quite chaotic. The place could really use some tender loving care. View all feedback.
I must say that Happy Seafood House never lets me down. I always order the seafood platter, which includes crab legs, potatoes, and corn, all drenched in their delicious mild buttery garlic sauce—it's so good! Plus, Happy Seafood House frequently has specials. If you're in the St. Mary's County area and looking for a family-friendly seafood restaurant, this place is definitely worth a visit!
We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and found the place to be empty, which lowered our expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. There aren't many places in Southern Maryland that offer a seafood boil, but this one does, and it’s fantastic. The menu features a variety of seasoning options and seafood choices.
Hello, I've been living in Saint Mary's County, Maryland, since 1981, and I've discovered plenty of spots offering excellent seafood at reasonable prices. However, I truly believe that Happy Seafood House stands out as the best restaurant in the Tri-County area. Whenever I decide to dine out, I just can't bring myself to go anywhere else. The quality of the food, the drinks, and the attentive wait staff, along with the diligent cleaning crew who tidy up after our seafood meals, exemplifies what every business should strive for. The owners and employees have every reason to be proud of their establishment.
I have always had a delicious meal and outstanding service at Happy Seafood House. I come for the boil, which our family loves. Always perfectly seasoned and truly a belly buster!! The wait staff has been the best super attentive and pleasant. At this restaurant they aim to please.
Very good food, and good portioned. A bit pricey but it was worth it. Staff was fast and friendly. Takeout was prepared well, and stayed warm for the 25 mile drive home.
