On the second day of eating here I arrived near the end of the lunch time (4:30pm) and the owners did not rush me through my meal. The owners are delightful and attentive. There are plenty of choices on the menu of the day and it is a very good value. 14 Euros for a first course, second course, dessert, bread, wine, and water. Coffee is extra. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic food made with great care and fresh ingredients. This restaurant was recommended to me by a local shop owner and I trusted a local's opinion.

The food, while ok, was nothing special. Quite bland, seemed almost tasteless. With so many restaurants to choose from, I don't believe I would go back. Not at all expensive, but then not that great either.

Not fancy or modern (or pricey), just hearty home-style cooking with no MSG sauces, a place where it seemed local families and working people go for lunch. It 's located on Calle Cid across from the Museum of Leon and it has spacious tables. If you want an inexpensive well-rounded meal with wine included, this is a good choice.
