The Original Ice Factory - Leon Valley

Today was the 3rd time that I tried this place however their donut machine was still down. They told me it was down. 2 months ago when I stopped in ot was also down. No biggie, I'll just get an Italian ice.. nope they were out of 3 different flavors that I requested for Italian ice! I have never been in this establishment and been able to order what I want off the menu it is actually quite a shame. Consistency can make or break a business

This was probably the best Italian Ice i have ever had in San Antonio! I was craving some so bad and almost settled elsewhere. Mark was the nicest he let us taste the flavors and then gave his recommendations. As you can see we didn't know what flavor we wanted so we got a couple LOL. our faves were the sour green apple and the strawberry and strawberry lemonade!

BEWARE the owner is not professional. If you care about your teenager or kids please BEWARE. She worked for this company with all her efforts for a few weeks while a student at St. Mary’s University. My daughter asked as a HARD WORKING STUDENT when she got paid. The person who runs the store THE OWNERS SON ,did not know what was going on with paying their workers. And he complained to his father. The older man who owned the store decided to talk to my daughter out of line when he doesn’t even communicate with her. He degraded her and made her feel as if she was nothing as employee. PAID HER LATE on her first check. They do not know how to treat employees. And they don’t have it together as a business with their competence, paperwork and there is no real leadership.

Due to supply chain issues, they were out of custard, donuts and smoothies. The kid working said the supplier didn't have trucks to make deliveries. But the mango Italian ice was excellent.

I tried this place after an article saying it was a must try. I got a large pina colada snow cone. Wasn't much flavor and watered down. Also there were no donuts available. So I was bummed about that. Wouldn't try again.
