I have been lucky enough to dine here with locals, who are well known to the owners and know just what to order. The starters set the scene for the main course- the Choritzo and cheese, the empanadas (both cheese and meet), the big, sweet tomato dish. The pastas are homemade, delicious and filling. Make sure you finish your meal with a coffee and a caramel covered biscuit! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Rincon Gaucho:
We ordered a filet medium rare it came overcooked and we had to send it back. The 2nd one came back overcooked again. The parrilla mixta was like eating cardboard, I just left the whole plate. A place to forget if you like meat. View all feedback.
2nd time for business dinner in the great Mexican food restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere with extremely good service. Perfect meat quality!
An organised business dinner with all international colleagues. The environment was superb with excellent service. Open kitchen with extraordinary food quality.
This restaurant wowed us. Friendly, family friendly, smoking or no. Great desserts. If you don’t speak Spanish, be careful. The misunderstand instructions.
I really like the atmosphere and beef offerings at this Leon landmark. All was served with a smile and a taste unmatched by any beef I had eaten anywhere to that date. HOWEVER...I ordered the Churrasco Martín Fierro Steak stuffed with cheese in laymen 's terms, and within hours I was agonizingly wrenching in the hospital with a near-deadly case of botulism! Yep, a sort of Moctechzumas revenge set into my gut that kept me in bed for 5 days. I guess it was tainted cheese, improper cooking or something. Nobody else in my party was affected as nobody ordered the same meal. Just my luck I guess. I guess you are wondering why I didn 't just trash this place. Well, the food I ate was delightful and the way down and for many hours afterward. And, everybody else with me felt the same way. It is a good choice for and you probably won 't regret the decision to patronize this way cool meat spot. Just examine your meat for doneness and stay away from the cheesy steak thing.
