Great place for lunch and dinner, just in front of the cathedral of León. Good food, cold beers, excellent coffee. The ambience is relaxing and the cooling system in the exterior tables is wonderful. Service is usually fast and the guys serving tables are very kind.

Terrible service worst tamales we 've EVER eaten in our whole lives. We decided to eat here since we were in the park, hungry, hot and tired. However, while this is centrally located, we really regretted having picked this place to eat drink. We waited LITERALLY ONE HOUR for our tamales. Our clueless seemingly new server failed to tell us that they had just run out of a batch of tamales apparently had to make a new one, which took a FULL HOUR. Had we known this information since the moment we ordered, we 'd have ordered something different. But no, this information was not conveyed to us by our server, instead he kept saying It 'll just be another moment every single time I 'd ask him how much longer for our food to be ready. Way fed up, I finally spoke a supervisor, I thought it was outrageous to have to wait for 2 tamales for over ONE HOUR. The supervisor was nice a much more knowledgeable professional server also helped us took over our table. He explained to us what had happened with the batches of tamales. We had very little time in Leon to explore the town, about an hour half was wasted here just waiting for a tamal! Completely unacceptable! I was livid! all just because our server sucked didn 't communicate with us clearly. My expectations are not super high when I 'm visiting a third world country, that said, DO NOT WASTE MY TIME! To top it all off, when the tamales were finally delivered to our table, like an hour and 10 minutes after they 've been ordered, they were awful. I don 't think I 've had a tamal so bad in my life. It had lots of fat, barely anything inside, bland, my friend 's tamal was still COLD on one side! Just terrible experience all around. The server that replace our original clueless server was very nice on top of things. You could tell that he was truly trying to make up for the stupidity dumbness of the other server that ruined our experience. I wish I 'd have gotten his name to leave a shout out for him. It 's a shame, we enjoyed our time in Leon otherwise, but the experience at this restaurant tarnished our visit wasted a ton of time we did not have.
