Krispy Kreme - Lenoir

It's so unfortunate that they're closed. I'll really miss enjoying coffee and doughnuts on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the American Legion Post 29 Coffee Call, especially the delicious offerings from the local Krispy Kreme!

I had a couple of coupons for a buy one dozen, get one dozen glazed free deal. When my husband and I arrived, the staff member informed us that we could only use one coupon at a time. We've been loyal customers of Krispy Kreme for several years, but now we’ve decided to switch to Dunkin' Donuts.

Additionally, I ordered two cups of ice water, but the girl suggested, "Is it okay if they’re bottled?" When I asked if there would be an extra charge, she confirmed there would be, so I decided to stick with the cups of water. When I received the cups, I noticed they had debris floating in them. I pointed this out, and she took the cups back, saying, “I’ll just give you bottles like I mentioned!” While I appreciated receiving the bottles without an extra charge, I was taken aback by the employee's attitude, and I was appalled that she served my kids unsanitary water. We will not be returning.

The staff member taking my order ask me over and over “are you done”. The store was not busy. No one was in line. No one was in the store. When I told her I thought she was very rude. The cashier yell at me and said she could not hear me. Retaliation seemed to be made as well because my donuts were definitely one day old.

We ordered a dozen of donuts, 6 original glaze and 6 chocolate glaze but they didn’t have any thing ready yet around 11:30 am because they are all in their cellphone looks nobody wants to make a donuts. One of them she has cellphone in her other hand then she was dipping the donuts to a chocolate. That was unsanitary. Anyway she unhanded us with different donuts. And it taste old donuts.
