Cracker Barrel - Lenoir City

I was born in Lenoir City and did not live there most of my adult life. After retiring here two years ago, I noticed that southern hospitality is everything, but in this city 's facilities went, except for this store. All crackers barrels are equal, but these guys will feel a landboy welcome. My big daughter's favorite place to dine!

I have literally eaten dozens of cracker barrels because I like the great selection of choices on the menu and the food is always quite good. I am a creature of habit so that I usually enjoy one of three or four things I really enjoy. This time was the chicken and dumplings. Great choice. The best I've ever eaten in a cracker barrel. The dumplings were perfect, not chalky, the sauce was just the right consistency. But the chicken? Gently, juicy and a really healthy portion. Sometimes I get like a chicken to go with the dumplings, but this time not. I actually ran out of dumplings before I ran out of the chicken. Excellent work Cracker Barrel. Well done!

Food was well presented. Everything was tasty, but the Cole Slav was a little watery. Service was excellent as the environment. Parts of the parking lot are not well lit, but you can still see to move safely. The store is clean and all staff were friendly. Near Christmas there were holiday wishes from most employees. You lost our order ticket in the kitchen so that our waiting for the food was long. The server told us about the situation and we understood. Such things happen and they were very busy. When they brought our food, the server that manager had offered us to pay for our meal. We were tied. Later the manager came to our table and apologized for the mistake and we thank her. A decent experience as a whole. I still suggest you visit at least once, I think you will like the food and the ambience.

When traveling in our campervan we prefer to stay overnight in the cracker barrel. This special store is very quiet and not directly next to the highway, which is a plus for us!! Will stare this place and stay again!!

I didn't have anybody to go with today so I ordered when I was at church what I wanted to take home to eat I told him I'd be there pick up they said just call the number and some will come out have you pay that's all I had to do was so quick and delicious and they were so kind I love Cracker Barrel all the time.
