The octopus ceviche, salmon chowder, and oak and smoke bourbon were amazing. The only reason I am giving 4 stars out of 5 was because the mac n cheese (which i have to try wherever i go) was very overcooked and mushy. Staff was amazing and took it off of the bill, but I feel that at a restaurant of that caliber you should know how to properly al dente a noodle. View all feedback.
What Hiway H doesn't like about Silo Modern Farmhouse:
Farm to table is the over emphasis here. To the point you can actually feel the dirt grit in the salad. One guests steak was not cooked to order, but was addressed appropriately by the waitress. My biggest critique are the prices. Too high for what you get. View all feedback.
Went in last minute with no reservation for Sunday brunch. My guest and I were seated at the bar. Very attractive decor. My guest commented that it would be a great place for a date. Service was attentive without being intrusive. My friend had shrimp grits. I had the bourbon chicken waffle. The shrimp grits was awesome. Amazing food! Everything was well-made and delicious. We'll definitely be back. It does lack signage to find it — initially I wasn't sure where it was because it doesn't have a sign on the building and it can be mistaken for the golf course club house.
Our server John was awesome. Drinks were very good and food was delicious. Love to come back here again!
If you plan to go to this restaurant get a reservation outside. The sunset is beautiful and with the well deserved popularity of this eatery you won't get in quickly without a reservation. I've been for a few dates and this place never disappoints. Great kids menu, delish chocolate cake and a flexible chef that will work around your food allergies. AMAZING PLACE. Loves every bit of it. Food, staff, atmosphere..everything. highly recommend this place whether you're celebrating something or just looking for a good meal.
