The pizza was tasty, but I discovered that the pizza sauce contains eggs, whereas the pasta sauce does not. Unfortunately, the staff seemed unaware of the implications of an egg allergy. They also had difficulty distinguishing between vegetarian and vegan options, and didn't fully grasp the seriousness of egg allergies. Old Shawnee has *delicious* pizza, some of the best in town!
The food and drinks are amazing, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It feels great to support a local, independently owned business, especially when everything tastes so delicious!
I will not be coming back. I ordered a lunch special that was supposed to be ready by 1:30, but I ended up waiting an extra 15 minutes. I also didn't receive my drink, and the pizza was really small—barely 7 inches in diameter, even though the description claimed it serves 1-2 people. There's no way this could serve two people. By the time I got back to the office to eat it, which is only a 6-minute drive away, the pizza was cold. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this meal given the price I paid.
