sweet little restaurant with vegetarian options plentiful and a few vegan. Substitute the cashew ricotta on any pizza or build it own. they also have a ricotta appetizer where they can subdue the vegan ricotta and a handful of salads. View all feedback.
What Tony Zauner doesn't like about Wooden Paddle Pizza:
The food and service at this restaurant were both good. However, what made it just okay was the fact that I was expecting a sit-down dining experience, not a quick in-and-out meal that ended up costing $100 in only 45 minutes. Overall, the service was efficient but not what I had in mind for a relaxed dinner. The recommended dishes to try are the Rocketman and the Sausage Fest. The price per person typically ranges f... Came here for dinner with friends. The ricotta and honey comb is amazing. The cucumber drink is also really good. The pizza is good, but a little soggy. I like a firmer crust. But I think you should give this place a shot, regardless bc the flavors were there.
We moved to Lemon in September, this is one of our favorite spots since. Such friendly staff, the cocktails are AMAZING, and we love the various fun pizzas! We often get the jalapeño roulette because it is a fun and delicious appetizer. We ordered pizza for delivery a few weeks ago it was excellent. You will give you a mini-pizzeria sweetheart instructions as you heat it again if it gets cold. So nice presentation. Of course we prefer to be in the restaurant to have it fresh, but for one night it was great. See you soon Woodle Paddle
On Saturday for lunch. It was not surprisingly too busy. The waitress was very nice. We sat outside at a table with a umbrella that made it pleasant to be outside. It was a bit windy today, so it was a little cool and so. A few questions I had answered from my waitress were: the bacon toppings are in small strips and not in bits. Even the sausage is not in larger pieces in tiny bits. You can ask for half a pizza, but only if it doesn't make super complicated. My recommendation for a starter is the Rocatta and Waben. Their menu should also change so often so that they could not have the same in the future. It is worth trying out! Especially when you visit Lemont! For 1 appetizer, 2 pizzas, and tip it was about 60 dollars. There were three of us, and we had a little leftover.
Wooden Paddle was one of my favorite choices we made for our wedding! They were amazing from beginning to end. Celina was responsive and easy to work, no matter how many questions we had. They even made a custom drink to our cocktail menu after we had the bartender at our tasting through our favorite drink that was meaningful for us. The guests renown about how delicious the food was, and I couldn't have been happier. If you are looking for a unique, reasonable catering experience, Wooden Paddle is the one!
Just discovered this gem. Wonderful place for really great hand made pizzas and other Italian appetizers and sides. Great atmosphere with lots of tables and some with benches. Cool to see the pizzas being made in the oven too!
