Wandering Boba - Lemon Hill

Wandering Boba is my fave food truck. I LOVE the Lumpia Shanghai. I live in Arden-Arcade and have gone as far as Elk Grove just to have the lumpia.

Came here for lunch with my coworker as it was close to our work and we were hankering for some Filipino food. I opted for the Lumpia Rice Plate while my friend opted for the Popcorn Chicken rice plate. The Lumpia plate is advertised as having 6 lumpia. My friend and I each got our food. What my plate consisted of was 3 lumpia that were cut in half to be six pieces of lumpia. That's a cool trick. I'm going to buy one hot dog, cut it up into 70 pieces and go win a hot dog eating contest because by Wandering Boba's definition, that would be 70 hot dogs. My coworker literally said WTF when he saw my plate. He said it ruined his experience seeing how cheated I was. To be fair, the few pieces of lumpia I got were pretty decent, but the rice and the greens were a travesty. In summation, if you want 3 lumpia, overcooked rice and undressed greens that were old and beginning to get slimy for $10, you should totally come here. If you have a few ounces of self-respect, you should probably shuffle on by.

I basically stalk this truck on weekly basis through instagram. You can't go wrong with the lumpia, popcorn chicken, or garlic rice plate special. I also love the tiger milk tea and mango green iced tea. I really hope they get a store front

I always get the mango slushie with boba and everytime, it's been good. It's definitely a bang for your buck. It takes a lot longer to down a slushie than a Thai tea so next time it's hot, look into that

If Wandering Boba is close by, get the Loco Moco plate. Fresh Angus patty over steamed rice with chicken bacon gravy, topped with an over easy egg, plus a side of macaroni salad and green salad. It's delicious! Rice is perfect soft and fluffy. Gravy has a rich flavor. And the lean patty is well seasoned and cooked well done. (Next time, I'll ask for medium). I dont generally care for Asian macaroni salad but theirs is yummy. Oh. And get the Japanese Black Sugar milk tea with boba. It's awesome.
