Great restaurant! The chow mein was so yummy that im still thinking of it. Hubby really liked the generals chx too, maybe next time I'll ask for it to be crispier, it felt mushy to me. View all feedback.
What Crim C doesn't like about Good Friends:
Generous serving for lunch combo but the taste wasn't that great. Chowmein and fried rice were bland. General Tso's sauce wasn't too bad but wish the chicken pieces were a little crunchy. I guess, for a cheap lunch $10.25), I got what I paid for? ^ ^ View all feedback.
They offer a decent lunch special with a main entree plus, fried rice, chow mein, spring rolls and soup (soup dine in only). Fried rice and chow mein leave some to be desired. Packing flavor but served hot. The salt and pepper fish was very good. Fresh not over cooked. Hot n sour soup was okay. Staff is very friendly and polite. The restaurant appears clean. Table service is offered or order to go. Not a terrible quick lunch option.
Killer food. All 3 dishes we got looked and smelled amazing. Highest quality. Service was quite friendly. 10/10
I ordered War wonton soup which was ok but my complaint relates to the Mongolian Beef. The beef was chopped so fine that it was minced to the size of a grain of rice so all you taste is onions and sauce. They should be ashamed for trying to pass this dish off as Mongolian Beef.
Since this place was sold, the quality is no longer consistent. Pricey but sometimes the taste is not always good.
I've love this place. The wonton soup is awesome! The employees are awesome! I'm glad I found this place.
