Smithfield's Chicken N B-q - Leland

The dining experience was excellent! The food arrived hot and fresh, and the tea was as good as ever. I ordered the Tailgate Special with barbecue, which was fantastic. The beans and coleslaw were delicious, and the fried chicken was cooked perfectly. If I have any room left, I can't wait to dig into the Banana Pudding!

The 8 piece box was short a piece of chicken. Specifically a chicken breast.

The food at this restaurant is tasty, but the customer service falls short. I have seldom received an accurate order here and usually have to return to have something corrected. The chicken is moist, the Brunswick stew is delicious, but the fries are consistently cold and soggy due to excess grease not being properly drained.

If I could, I would give this restaurant negative stars. I ordered an 8-piece meal in addition to the tailgate special, but instead of what I ordered, they sent me BBQ chicken that was soggy and tasted like ketchup. The sides were terrible as well; the beans were bland and the potato salad was watery and mashed. The BBQ itself was subpar. The only enjoyable parts of the order were the hush puppies and the tea. This was my first time trying this place, and I was highly disappointed, especially since everyone raves about how good the food is. I will not be ordering from here again.

I didn't get my Regular Drink, my bbq and baked beans were room temp and the beans were crusty from where they have sat. My hush puppies were soggy due to them being put in the cole slaw. There was only half the amount of bbq there normally is. This is the second time in a row my order has been messed up by them. I do not recommend unless you go in person so you can make sure your order is correct and hot.
