Good treatment, excessive price. is eaten well but the excessive price. the scrambled was not ongo beltza. vegetables cooked simply. good curdled meat good.

We were people. We asked for red beans (good but slightly rare rations and sodas,) and txuleton with salad. the meat was spectacular, both the first piece and the second. the best I've ever tasted. desserts ( cheese and pantxinetas,) very good too. the service is, for me, too dry and informal for a restaurant of that price. With cider bottles we went out to eur person. The flesh was of the best

I was in a work meal. I was invited, so I don't know the prices. a partner told me they were tall. the outside is pleasant, it is surrounded by lawn and mountains. the landscape is very nice. It has covered parking. the interior is decorated and built in the traditional form of a farmhouse. Huge oak and stone beams. First we could have a glass of wine in a bar next to the dining room. In the dining room we started with some incomings. chistorra, mushrooms, salad, peppers. Then came an impressive chuleton of generous dimensions. the meat was excellent and everyone did not seem to have been cooked at the right point. We noticed him and cleaned the bone, which is not a plan to waste that delicacy. We had a choice of expensive desserts, a small piece of cheesecake, fried milk and another one I don't remember. We were also taken from the typical dessert of sidreria but with a modern touch: several types of I want cut into small portions, a kind of soft cheese or jam of quince and nuts. to finish coffee and for the most lively a combination. As I said, I don't know the price, but I ate lame and stayed like a pepe.

Drove one hour to Epeleta full of anticipation, after hearing very good things about their grilled beef (chuleta) . Location and dining room are as beautiful as they get and service, while correct, a touch too informal for my taste. Owner came to say hello to 2 tables of regulars. I was sitting alone at the third table and it would 've been a nice touch to come say a few words as well, but she didn 't (I 'm Spanish, no language barrier). Started off with some stewed wild mushrooms (in season) that were (over) cooked and had too much onion for my taste. They should have tried much harder at 20 euros per serving. Beef was good, expertly grilled in their wood fire, served at the right temperature. While soft and high quality, could have been juicier (the cut was too lean, a bit more fat left with the meat would 've improved things). Steak was overall lacking in flavor for my taste, probably the result of a short dry-aging. All in all good enough . For the price paid (110 EUR, no dessert, 2 bottles of sparkling water) , 3.5 stars would be a more balanced grade here. Wouldn 't go back.

Had a variety of starters, chistorra and mixed vegetables stood out. Main dish a chuleton just from heaven. Buttery meat with a taste of nuts, smooth to cut yet tasty and crunchy, grilled perfectly. Very decen red wine, a great efficient service and we went with sven kids. Not cheap but worth every euro. One of the best txuletas in a long time, and this region offers great food. Fell in love with the place and only regret having been here 8 years and not found out earlier. To be repeated! And dessert, leche frita, go check it out!
