The restaurant review: The room was located on the ground floor facing the bustling Main Street. It was noisy with the passing trucks and cars, and there was little to no ventilation. The room had three beds, which would be cramped with more than one person in it and luggage. The price was too high for the quality of the room. Another room was directly above, and you could hear people walking around. However, the room was clean and had a modern feel to it. The free Wi-Fi was fast, and the room had a fridge and microwave, although no food was offered.

This was not the greatest place I've ever stayed. The room was small and very hot, with a window that only opened about 3 inches. During my stay on Saturday, it seemed like they assumed all guests were GAA fans. The match was blaring through speakers in both the front and back open dining areas at about 120 decibels. The only positive aspect was the nice breakfast, but unfortunately I couldn't fully enjoy it due to having had many drinks the night before. Derek, a proud Dub.

Please be aware of the location of some of the restaurants listed on the website as they are not actually located in Carrick. To dine at The Barge, Gertie’s, Leitrim Marina, and other restaurants, you will need to drive or take a taxi from town.

We were recommended by someone to visit this place for a bit of pup grub. Well, we are sorry we even stepped in the door. Leanne was our server and she was rude from the first approach. Total attitude for no reason. Like customers are a burden to her. My friend actually went to ask where the food is as we were waiting 40 minutes and the place was not busy. Leanne actually snapped at my friend totally rude trying to have an argument with customers over how long they wait for food? This is terrible customer service and not professional. If you don’t like to interact with people I’d suggest you change jobs. The food wasn’t even worth the whole hassle. Definitely won’t be back.

Have been here many times and always enjoyed our visit. Steak was horrible, just fat and no meat. Asked to speak to someone regarding it and was told no. Staff are rude and won't be returning again.
