The service was generally good, with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. A few customers mentioned slow service, but they acknowledged that it was likely due to high demand on New Year's Day. Overall, for a casual meal or a relaxing evening with a pint, this restaurant offers a cozy setting and friendly service that might be worth revisiting.
For a pint or two out to get three cold days outside, but welcome and really burning log fire inside. cathy, who served me, was a perfect bar host(in). enjoyed listening to the native when I dived into and out of my book. great guinness, great service, warm atmosphere kitchen was closed until Friday night. among other things I was made a new sweat called addicted, I will definitely come back.

My wife and I frequently dine at this restaurant on our way in or out of Dublin. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
I stopped by for a pint or two but ended up having three. It was a cold day outside, but I was greeted with a warm welcome and a real wood-burning fire inside. Cathy, the bartender, was a fantastic hostess. I enjoyed hearing the locals chatting as I read my book. The Guinness was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed until Friday night. I also learned a new joke called 'addicted' from one of the regulars.
