A very small restaurant with incredibly good food. The staff are very polite, courteous, and helpful. Reservations are recommended to get a table. To feel truly satisfied, they suggest ordering 3-4 courses, and yes, you'll definitely feel full and happy afterward. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it, and we're already looking forward to the next menu change. It's truly something different, and the interplay of ingredients, preparation, and presentation is amazing. Highly addictive!

Nice restaurant with a unique and seasonal menu. I always enjoy going there, although some friends of mine were sometimes not completely satisfied by the taste of their food. Besides the, in my opinion, great food, they have nice beers and soft drinks. Deserts are great, too.

… regarding the reviews at happycow and also tripAdviser, my expectations were pretty high. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet them (at all). I like a down to earth style, but the alternative interior is almost a little cold, not a single plant, picture or cushion on the bench. At the moment the restaurant offers a menu-service, so you can order between 2-4 courses. 2 are around 31-35€. Taste of the dishes all in all okay, some good, but some of the flavor-combos didn’t go very well together in my opinion. Definitely not what I expected, also in presentation of the dishes. Portion sizes were small (which I expected). Confusing for example the (convenience) vegan shredded cheese on one of the little course-arrangements. We received a little amouse bouche from the kitchen, which was nice. Staff was friendly, but didn’t even ask, if we enjoyed our food and made themselves kinda rare. We paid 75€ for two drinks and four rather small dishes. In my opinion the value is not justified. The Concept of the restaurant obviously should be alternative with haute cuisine, but it is not working out satisfyingly in my opinion. I wouldn’t come back as long as they offer this concept. I’d prefer full-size regular dishes, without a minimum of two courses. Updated from previous review on 2022-12-30

The staff is really super friendly and quick. I think I've never met any more friendly staff! The main courses and deserts are super amazing (though expensive). They even custom made me a sugar free hot chocolate with oat milk.

Honestly one of the best restaurants I 've ever been to and surely the best vegan! My boyfriend and I went there the 26th of December on a hint of our host. Every table had a reservation we didn 't so we nearly left. As a last best hope I asked if we could sit at the bar: of course! Best choice ever, we had a great evening with delicious haute cuisine vegane . Every dish was a great composition of known and not so well known fresh ingredients, mixed in a very interesting way. We ate really slowly to get every taste. :

I visited Zest around Christmas time and had high expectations. There were many options to chose from with many creative twists. Me and my boyfriend shared a starter, I got filled ravioli as a main dish, he got vegan Schnitzel, and as a desert we ordered a brownie. Each had one drink and all together was around 52€.. which is not very cheap but it's worth it. We both were very full afterwards but the fullness-feeling was very nice and not like lying around for the next few hours. The atmosphere was cozy and our waiter was SUPER NICE !! :

Long time on the list, never managed until yesterday. The best outdoor weather. The lemonades were very tasty and not so sweet (we had Rhabarber Minze and Ginger Lime [thought]. The portions are really not huge, but if you take the Brownie to dessert (which is a poem! I don't need much. Conclusion: We'll be back.

Great dishes of the service were also top. Very elaborate, exceptional dishes. 10/10

Instead of a few appetizers and main courses, there are now only some smaller main dishes, two of which are completely sufficient and three are perfect for something more hungry. This results in great combinations and it is easier to taste one evening through a variety of taste explosions.
