Trattoria Amici - Leipzig

Great restaurant! Two of us had tuna and a surf & turf, both were really great. Good taste, fresh and nicely made. I ordered a pizza, it was nice, but not the best I ever had, but I shouldn't expect that outside Italy. The ingredients on the pizza was, just like the other dishes, fresh and of good quality, but in my opinion the dough was slightly too thick. Somebody else probably wouldn't mind. The ambiance was also great, you're in the city but on the terrace, surrounded by plants, that's great. Also the prices are great for the quality you get. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

There are many re as on ably priced varieties of thin sliced pizzas. They are cooked to order just delectable. There are many other Italian dishes which I did not get to try. Friendly, professional service. No credit cards are accepted. Around the corner from the Mendelssohn House and close to the Gewand Orchestra.

The restaurant looked to be almost fully booked on the Saturday evening we visited but we were able to get a table outside. The staff were friendly and the service good. However, the food was average.

Sorry but I waited at least 15 minutes and nothing at all happened, so I left and really service did not even notice that I left! I went to a lovely steak place next door and they really cared

I called in for a quick Iunch break, not having much time at my hands.To speed up matters I selected a spaghetti con vongole - mussels, not the Italian small vongole - in a tomato sauce.The meal was served very quickly, a decent glass of Pinot Grigio to wash it down, with it.Very tasty sauce, spicy as I like it, pasta nicely al dente and the mussels plump and fresh!Not the best ever pasta of my life but all I wanted and needed at the time - served with a smile and tasting good at a reasonable price!
