Die s... read more Wir konnten hier ganz entspannt das Geschehen in der Vormittagssonne auf dem Marktlatz beobachten und gleichzeitig den flotten Service des Cafés genießen! Die servierten Eis- und Kaffee-Spezialitäten entsprachen voll unseren Erwartungen!

They took anothe... read more My friend and I sat inside and we waited nearly 20 minutes to be asked for our order. We ordered two types of ice creams, which each cost 7,50. They took another 20 minutes to come. The serves were big, but there's nothing special about the menu or the ice cream - tasted very average so wasn't worth the high price. We then ate (10-15 minutes) and packed up our dishes but it took another 25 minutes for our waitress to let us pay. We were sitting right near the service station so she walked past us every few minutes. We called out to her but she didn't hear us or ignored us multiple times. The waitress didn't smile either and was visibly unimpressed when we didn't leave a tip, despite it taking over an hour for an ice cream! Worst of all, they seemed very well staffed and we were not there at a busy time, at least 50% of the cafe was empty - there really was no excuse.

Diese waren am Samstag... read more Das Café Stein findet man in allerbester Lage am Rande des Leipziger Marktplatzes. Vor dem Café gibt es es eine Vielzahl von Sitzplätzen. Diese waren am Samstagnachmittag auch fast komplett gefüllt.Die Kaffeespezialitäten fanden wir sehr durchschnittlich, die Preise dagegen sind recht saftig bemessen. Trotzdem haben wir gerne etwas länger hier gesessen, da die Lage einfach perfekt ist. Mit Blick auf den wunderbaren Markt kann man dem bunten Treiben zuschauen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Dafür zahlt man dann doch gerne einen Euro mehr.

It's a chill atmosphere to hang out with friends in the evening. I only got a cup of Eisschokolade mit Sahne, but I enjoyed it and the ambiance was great too.
