We had a wonderful evening at the Stadtpfeiffer for a birthday. It was my first visit to a Michelin-starred restaurant, so I don't have anything to compare it to – but I would still like to share my impressions. The reception was extremely friendly, the menu was explained in detail, and as a small gift, I received a birthday cake. I particularly appreciated the option to freely choose between meat and vegetarian options for each course. The food was consistently delicious, and the service very attentive. For example, water was regularly refilled, bread was brought, and overall, we felt well looked after. I was less impressed, however, by the ambiance: the dining room seems rather austere and somewhat sterile. I also found the wait times between courses to be quite long at times. I also found the pricing somewhat unusual, as vegetarian options and non-alcoholic beverages cost the same as meat or alcoholic options. Essentially, it is of course a high-priced experience, but I did not have the impression that it was overpriced in relation to the quality and service.
Superb restaurant. Truly excellent, top-quality food with regional herbs and vegetables. You can see what you're eating without any frills or frills. Plenty of sauce for the meat. Traditional dishes (veal tongue) perfectly prepared. Wonderful service. Only the wine list has considerable room for improvement. I'll definitely be back.
A perfect birthday evening at Stadtpfeiffer We spent a wonderful evening at Stadtpfeiffer for my husband's birthday. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and to our surprise, a small birthday kitchen was waiting on our table. A wonderful gesture! The entire menu was a delight: creative, perfectly coordinated and presented with great attention to detail. We found it particularly nice that some dishes were served and explained by the chefs themselves. The service was attentive, professional and at the same time very warm. An unforgettable evening in a stylish ambience – we will definitely be back!

As you expect from a restaurant that deserves a Michelin star, we had a nice, pleasant dinner! There was no problem for them to prepare my meal gluten-free. It is also obvious that meals are expensive here, but still not... unbelievably so. Two, more smaller, problems let me give the rating four instead of five: light lack of attention when filling or wine glasses when empty (the bottle was behind us. They could not (do not make me an Irish coffee because it was apparently not in their repertoire (in a similar situation in a small restaurant in Berlin last year, they immediately improvised a Scottish coffee! If/if we come back to Leipzig, we can go back very well to another dinner!
This is a very special treat that is probably one of the best restaurants in Germany and has won a Michelin star. It is located behind the glass facade of the concert hall Gewandhaus. It serves predominantly elegant, modern French cuisine with high-quality ingredients. Petra...Sail is the owner/hoss and comes to your table to welcome you. The taste is wonderful and the food is presented so optically attractive. There are such delights as venison with chestnut puree, scallops with Perigord truffles, warm chocolate cake with lavender ice cream or caramelized tangenins. It is phenomenally expensive at €132 for 6 courses, without drinks. You can combine dinner with a ticket to the concert hall for €284. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 6 pm to midnight. Booking is essential. Get ready!
In the centre of Leipzig there is a fine restaurant. Food and service were good. Nice touch that there was a choice of two menus. It is expensive for a Michelin-star restaurant. A visit worth
We have booked this star restaurant, not to see how expensive it is. The fixed price 6-course menu is 132 euros and this is without the wine pairing for another 78 euros. One we got over the shock, we ordered a dish a la carte. My wife and I had the charfish and our colleague had the octopus. Everybody was fantastic. What was nice is that the staff felt our shock and immute in terms of prices and they felt a small appetizer to start some delicious bread, and finally some bite size desserts, all on the house. In the end we were very satisfied with a fantastic gastronomic experience. But be sure, ready and BRING YOUR WALLET!
Total surprised. Was in Leipzig for a conference- four of us. We booked this place without knowing it is a Michelin starred restaurant. Certainly I was not dressed for the place. However we were served promptly and efficiently. We chose the four course dinner (2...of us meat dishes, and 2 vegetarian) Totally amazing food and wine. Highly recommended (and I have been to a lot of Michelin Star Restaurants). Nice setting, beautiful presentation, unique food and excellent service. Outstanding. Cannot imagine anyone could produce nicer food. 2 or 3 star restaurant are not better in taste but perhaps more exquisite surrounding
