Thank you so much for the delicious food, the great service from C., and for letting us know how big the rice pudding is.
We went to Spizz for breakfast again today. They went to great lengths to find us a comfortable spot (we were a bit late
I 've been a regular there for a long time. The location is ideal, even for people traveling by public transportation. The food is very solid for a jazz bar. The service staff always tries to accommodate everyone, even when the crowds are very busy. Every week, there 's a different theme at the Spizzkeller. Food is served until late into the evening. Highly recommended.
Nice location but what a blast Kopp always comes up with this stupid idea: today we'll play 90s music and next week 80s
We spontaneously decided to go to Spizz after visiting the Christmas market, but unfortunately, it was only moderately busy. We were a mixed group and arrived around 11:00 PM, so the place was still empty. We women were let in immediately, but the men were initially turned away and only allowed in when we said they were with us. Middle-aged men aren't exactly welcome. According to the website, entry was free until midnight—what a rip-off! We had to pay €8 entry. The bar staff were friendly, the drinks were okay, but card payments are only accepted for purchases over €10? What's the point of that? It's obviously increasing their profits or maybe they're just lining their pockets. Admittedly, the DJ wasn't bad, and there was something for everyone. Still, it was a bit disappointing.

We went inside no friendly faces from the personel. We sat down and waited to order. No one looked at us and the place was not fully booked. I am ok with waiting not with “no interest”. All in all a very rude experience we left again without ordering. Service: 1

Had a terrible experience at this spot. Could have lived with the slow service and sub par food. but when we tried to inquire about the status of our food...

I've been the hustling with friends or appointments... You always loved it... Whether in the afternoon on a coffee or in the evening on a cocktail... The ambience and the environment are just... I love sitting outside and watching the city and people... Even at some not so warm temperatures you can still stay outside, thanks to heating radiators and ceilings... The services are always very friendly and nice... I can't complain about the speed of the Sercive... The waiters were very smiling to pick up orders and the drinks and food weren't waiting long... The taste was always true... I can only recommend the Spizz and would always go back... The prices for drinks and food are also within the framework, not really more expensive than in other cafés or restaurants...
A good address for all the evenings with friends want to end the evening. Great and good offer of spices and drinks, at fair prices. You should only be there in time, because especially in summer the good places are quickly occupied. On weekends there will be something uncomfortable in the evening as the Spizz is at the start of the barefoot bass and there is always a lot to go.
One of the reasons to feel really comfortable as a tour in Leipzsch. At the restless end of the barefoot bass (lightly annoying bachelor closure lures a variety of yellow parasols at one of the free, it was still early at night table linen. In a few minutes the order was accepted and even before the prefabricated large grain berry was only half emptied, the dish was ready for consumption with delicious Panzerotti dough bags on shells and rocket. For the next evening, a second person was left behind and a solid foundation was created. People keep watching the posts. Service: very flott, very friendly and very pretty. The food offer: from 9:00 large breakfast selection of French cart (2.50 euros to salmon complete (7.20 euros sodan salads, soups, salmon fillet, chicken curry, steaks, pasta (s.o., chili con carne, burger, children, etc. so children's plates, baguettes, ciabatta, cakes and cakes. Liquid fuel: all common coffee variations including Irish Coffee, Tea, Cold Anti Alk including homemade lemonades. Barrels and bottled beers as well as silly beer mixes, surprising but unfilled selection of white and red wines. But Taittinger champagne at 85 euros. But then rather few whisky varieties. Buckles of course: cocktails, shakes with and without ice, bowl according to season. The jazz cellar of the house seems to be worth a visit: on Wednesday from 20:00, Piano Boogie is announced Friday and Saturday from 22:00 Jazz Funk Disco. Otherwise, this is a top club address in the city. Finally, the temptations, Maceo Parker and other celebrities from the music business have already been told. So: soon again, then probably also jazz cellar with kind regards, Sir Thomas
Yesterday in the late afternoon, I was conscious of the Spizz for the first time. Because in barefoot bass the pubs merge into each other, I have always held it for a part of the neighboring barefoot, but now I know better. I also know now that we're going to migrate again and again. The services were very friendly, but at first it took a while until they had registered us as new guests, but then everything went very hard. The food was good and sufficient, the wines ordered also corresponded to the expected level. Prices are fair, we have paid around 14 euros per person for food and drink. What was not possible on Wednesday (because there was no music offer): Try out the jazz cellar. It'll be retrieved.
I've been eating with my girlfriend more often and went home happy every time after dinner. The ambience, the food is perfect, only at the price I have to say that it is something for larger wallets or you should make it a special occasion. Nevertheless, the price for food is definitely justified and therefore my assessment.

It was a challenge to understand, as we are tourist and we do not speak German and here seem to speak only a few English, but the positive energy of the personal won. great location, very crowded, everyone seems to like it here. Eating is good, bier is brilliant, I recommend it to everyone in leipzig.
Was walking around looking for a late dinner bite after watching a concert at Gewandhaus Orchester. Thankful to spot this place there were many people eating and chatting at the al fresco area. We ordered Spizz Special Burger €13.50 and Fruchtiges Hahnchencurry (fruity chicken curry) €13.90. Service was good and fast (the waiter who took our order and bill was pleasant, polite, responsive; another waiter who served our food was also pleasant and polite), food also came quite quickly in 10 15mins. Food was tasty and portions good, although the burger was only slightly warm instead of hot. Would have also liked if the chicken curry with basmati rice came piping hot. We chose to sit outside as we enjoy the cool natural air, and took our chances with other diners smoking.
Location, Location! It is in the heart of the city and always full! Hard to miss it! We sat upstairs, which is somehow cool but little bit too tight to be comfortable ,especially if you want to eat. It is very good decorated with a vivid atmosphere. The service is friendly but stressed, but of course we totally understand this cause it was FULL!!! But even so they were fast and efficient. Thumbs up for this!!! We were there for quite some time. The coffee isn't the best to be honest. Cocktails are good. Food was tasty and the prices also good! For sure we are coming back:
