Very good service and nice food. Wide choice and good selection. Round the corner from the restaurants in the gastronomy centre. They seem to have all sorts if special offers going. View all feedback.
What MaryH636 doesn't like about Schnitzel Culture:
This place has more schnitzel choices than I thought possible. There were 6 of us and all of us thought what we had was just average. But to be fair, we've had some really good schnitzel in Berlin and Austria. My guess is that someone with less expectations would enjoy it. View all feedback.
Large schnitzel selection, friendly service and a sport bar ambiance. The portions are very large so you better come hungry.
Loved this place! Being a true fan of all things schnitzel, I was a little skeptical about the kitschy-soundung name. That said, they delivered not only a wonderful product but a whole schnitzel experience. They have an almost overwhelming number of variations on the theme. The schnitzel itself has eight iterations Tofu Eggplant to Pork Veal , then it gets exponentially crazy with a variety of topings Schnitzel St. Tropez anyone? . Great German beers also abound. The ambiance of the place is also a bonus, with an industrial-chic ethos driven by a high-energy playlist. Rounding it all out is the typical cool to slightly cold yet amazingly comforting but efficient German service. Ja, Bitte Mehr!!
Disclaimer: I speak german so this has nothing to do with language barrier. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to roam the world of the living and no one ever hearing or seeing you, look no further than Schnitzel Culture. You’ll wave your hands, make direct eye contact, say “ Entschuldigung!!” and the waiters will not hear or see you. When you DO get service twenty minutes later it’s a bit like you’re a spirit being summoned in a seance. Much like you would ask a normal ghost they say “what do you want” and you muster up the words and like any ghost you say quick and spooky because the window to the world of the living is very very small, so I said “ SCHNiTZEL BAUTZEN UND EINE CABERNET SAUVIGNON”. The food appears. Ok the roasted potatoes were bomb. The schnitzel was mega greasy but overall worth the price at €8.90 it was a pretty big portion. But **** then you have to pay. Now that you’ve feasted on human food you have to go back into the underworld and wait 30 minutes for the waiter to come back. So you leave remnants of offerings for humans like exact change for your food on the table to lure them in so they can see you. ONLY small CHiLDREN we’re looking at me which was proof I was a ghost here. Only when the waiter saw the cash on the table 30 mins later did she come. So come for the amazing spiritual experience of being a spirit in the world of the living. But get a schnitzel elsewhere.
Ate here twice when in Leipzig. Good food beer. Kind staff who were patient with my bad command of German. Incredible range of schnitzels .... Most enjoyable
We were visiting with 5 friends and since the beginning the staff was extremely rude with us, food was ok but we will never come back.
