Restaurant Johann S. - Leipzig

The ultimate convenience of having lunch or dinner right next to your concert is wonderful! No rush or fuss to make your seat on time and the food /menu here is high quality. Superb!

My experience here was just fine.Our waiter spoke passable English, the lack of an English menu was not a deterrent, and it was nice to sit outside as the sun sank lower. The food was good and plentiful--very good sweet potato fries. And, as hubby says, there is no bad beer in Germany. I did see that some of the other wait staff did not appear to speak English, so we got lucky. Right next to the Bach museum and Thomaskirche, hence the name. A good place to regroup after being immersed in the 17th century.

Meals and service was great !! I wish if they have not limited main courses. Wines were very good. Atmosphere , their helpful suggestions , everything was fine ????

We had a bit of a language problem, but we could, more or less, understand the menu. Once we got passed ordering the food was nice (not amazing, but nice).
