It is not 100% authentic but the food here is simply well seasoned, and yet will not make you extremely thirsty afterwards. The location is not central but also not too far away from the center. Inside is spacious and therefore group meals are perfect here. The service is friendly and sometimes overworked, but they tried their best. The price is pretty good considering big portion and good quality. Their fish sauce mixture is quite well balanced. Recommend: the Vorspeise platter for 2 people. It is actually enough for 4 people and has a good variety of Vietnamese dishes on it.

Unfortunately, the quality has noticea... read more Rating: We used to go to Pho Co Restaurant often and enjoy it – fine Vietnamese cuisine, and we always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined over the years. Some dishes, like the chicken curry dishes, are still delicious – others, such as the beef dish Bun Bo Nam Bo, we found to be average at best. What particularly struck us on our last visit, however, was the service. There were an extremely large number of flies on the terrace, presumably attracted by the fish sauce. When we politely asked for a solution (e.g., lit coffee or something similar), we were simply offered to go inside – unfortunately, we found that not very customer-oriented. Another problem: A friend had specifically ordered a dish with mango sauce because he can 't tolerate curry. The meal still contained curry. When asked, the staff simply said there was just a little in it. We didn 't think that was particularly thoughtful either. It 's a shame, Pho Co used to be a regular for us – but unfortunately, it 's no longer an option. Three stars out of a long-standing relationship, but with a distinctly critical bias.
