The Penguin Ice Salon or Milk Bar Penguin, as it is now called, is for me and my family (all a piece of Leipzig history tradition. My mother sat here with her grandparents and now this piece of Leipzig history is a really wonderful café restaurant. The food (ice waffles... is really delicious and creative, just like the drinks. The ambience is really very tasteful and there is plenty of space both indoor and outdoor - on sunny days weekend is recommended to reserve a table... This speaks quality for itself; highly recommended

Food and drinks have always tasted me there. The prices are fair and the ambience cozy. Super is the large outdoor seat that is used in summer. I'd always go.

The concept was clear, here is far from the class. After standing at the buffet there are only cheap sausages, hardly salads that warm food was the lowest rail. The worst brunch, never again!! The coffee, the so-called apartment for € 3,50, was unusable. Always empty because of the masses, the filling lasted very long, as the staff barely returned. Fish and vegetables were sweet and partly completely unmarried, the fish was completely tasteless and watery. The rice pampered, sticky and faded, simply underground and partly unpredictable!! We are sour a lot of money for very little performance!!! From this brunch is advised!!!

Too bad the owners do nothing about it. The ice cream offer leaves too much to be desired, unfortunately only standard, as you get it in every ice shop, but also partly restaurant. In addition, you should have time .. because so far the service has always been waiting for you, it was no matter whether it was an order that you got your order or when paying.
