had just an evening in leipzig left and wanted to see the eastern part. this bar is just 10 minutes from the main station via tram and has a rather calm vibe where locals of different walks of life seem to come together! i loved how nice everyone was and the huge offer of more ore less local beers! will def. come back! I wouldn't come back. a little overpriced and we were not blown away.
Came for a second hand exchange. the place was super busy as it was also brunch time. the atmosphere was beautiful, but my puncture is long gone and we felt a little out of place. sadly we left shortly after the arrival, as there was no possibility to order a drink and enjoy it somewhere. also, not the place, but the people who sell their things felt strangely unwilling.
They have all vegan tapas on Saturday from 4-8p. it costs 5 eur for 3 items that is super cheap because it ends a good amount of food (e.g. 1 piece 2 piece bruscetta.) we went for the tapas and it was a fun, young atmosphere and a popular place. we had the quiche that had kartoffel and kale and was somehow dry and the taste was not my favorite. the red dip that goes with the tortilla chips is interesting, it has a kind of chipotle taste. the bruscetta was not super aromatic, but there was another element (I cannot remember the names) that was really good: on the top of the cut baguette pieces were articocks, sun-dried tomatoes, and gurke with a really interesting sauce dipped. that was my favorite. we also tried the Tofu Scrambble my partner liked, and the Pasta salad that hadn't tasted much. there are vegan tapas on Saturdays, 16:00-20:00. it costs 5 eur for 3 things it is very cheap because it is a good amount of eating (1 portion 2 pieces bruscetta.) the atmosphere makes fun, is young and popular. we took the quiche. it has kartoffel and kale, was a bit dry and does not have so much taste. the red sauce for the tortilla chips was interesting with a chipotle taste. the bruscetta has not so much taste, but that was something else very delicious: over baguette pieces was artichoke, dry tomato, and gurke is amazed with a very interesting sauce. that was my favorite. we have also tried the tofu scramble that my partner has liked, and the pasta salat that does not have so much taste.
Small, but price-performance ratio didn't feel appropriate (quality d food and worth it)
We were there on Saturday for breakfast and there was a breakfast buffet. You can pick up things and compose your personal breakfast and then just pay for what you eat. The food was really nice and the service very friendly! Definitely recommend it!
