The hosts are friendly and committed – not just to their bar, but also to developing an ever-larger (and greater) array of craft beers. The bar strikes the perfect balance between offering products outside of the “mainstream“ (you would not find Beck's there, I suppose) and making these products acessible and highly desirable. The atmosphere is charming, the interior no-nonsense minimalistic and better even: the lack of pretense that surrounds so many other places catering to the young and urban crowds. I have re-visited the bar twice since October and can highly recommend a visit – and the trial of at least three of their beers. If you're lucky, you may also get to eat the home-made vegetarian onion lard sandwiches – a German classic revisited.
