We were warmly welcomed and shown to our reserved table. The friendly, relaxed attitude of the employees continued throughout the evening. Top. We first ordered a delicious Aperol Spritz. Then there was house bread with 3 different dips. For the main course we ordered red wine and non-alcoholic wheat and for dinner my mother-in-law and I had grilled pork fillet with mushrooms, pepper sauce and croquettes and for my husband a 250g rump steak, with fried potatoes and fried onions. We were all thrilled. Really really tasty. Unfortunately, even with the best will in the world, dessert was no longer suitable. A delicious espresso and a Ramazzotti rounded off the lovely evening. A little tip: Maybe adjust the prices of the online menu.

The welcome was very warm, the drinks (three draft beers) arrive... read more Yesterday, the two of us went there for steak (mixed grill and filet mignon with langoustines). The welcome was very warm, the drinks (three draft beers) arrived quickly, and we immediately felt comfortable. The interior is somewhat quirky, with an open cooking area where the owner prepares the meat to perfection. After two fresh appetizers, we received two wonderfully cooked and incredibly tender portions, medium-rare at its best. The restaurant was busy, but there was still privacy for each table. The interior was decorated for the pre-Christmas season, and the service was warm and welcoming. Thank you also for the extra treat, which we hadn't expected but thoroughly enjoyed. We'll gladly come back, even though we're not from Leichlingen. The photo shows the extra treat from the owner.
