zizzi have raised the game massiw as the rostica pizza, courgette ball tagliatelle and pesto brot. unnoticed fantastic service, though a little slow, and a good solid house white and we had good food for a reasonable price in a school night. it was great. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Zizzi Leicester Highcross:
the service was very slow, and we had to leave the table at an opportunity to get someone. Consequently, our meal took much longer than we wanted. the most important courses were in order, although ask does it better. wein was very good and everyone loved dessert. we all agree that the restaurant is in a convenient location to dip dessert and coffee while shopping, but there is no meal to book. My man and I went to zizzi in highcross leicester. I had the lasagne al forno, which was really delicious, it had a nice crispy tip. my man had the stromboli calzone, the salami was crispy at the top, and the filling of spinat and cheese was so delicious. we also had the broth basket, which was with all the different broten delicous, the balsamico vinegar with it was nice to dive. as usual it was nice to eat. the place blossomed with people who were nice!
My husband and I went to Zizzi's in the Highcross in Leicester. We were warmly greeted. then shown to our seats. We were given the main menu, as well as the specials menu, alot of restaurants dont give them willingly! We both chose of the special menu, as it was 2 main meals for £12, which was well worth it.I had the meatball calzone, which was packed full with meatballs, and, mushrooms, it was delicious. My husband had the calzon/pizza which was a combination of both, also delicious. We will return
Busy on an early Thursday evening, but were led to our booked table immediately. Maitre 'd was fabulous, service was discreet and effective. The food was excellent, but very largte. I had a starter of Gnocci with gorgonzola, which defeated me but was lovely, if a little heavy on the sauce.
Zizzi has really stepped up its game! The rostica pizza, courgette ball tagliatelle, and pesto bread were all incredible. While the service was a bit slow, it was still fantastic. We enjoyed a nice house white wine and had delicious food at a reasonable price on a school night. Overall, it was a great experience!
The service was quite slow, and we had to leave our table to get someone’s attention. As a result, our meal took much longer than we expected. The main courses arrived in the correct order, though I've seen better. The wine was excellent, and everyone enjoyed the dessert. We all agree that the restaurant is conveniently located for grabbing dessert and coffee while shopping, but it doesn't offer a full meal experience.
