Wongs Chinese Takaway - Leicester

We ordered takeout from this restaurant today as a special evening date treat. The noodles were delicious and full of flavor, and the crispy chicken was also great. However, some pieces of beef were tough and chewy. The prawn crackers were fresh and tasty. Next time, I will avoid ordering beef, but overall the meal was good.

The food at this restaurant was just okay, with some dishes having good flavor. Disappointingly, the chips seemed to be microwaved. The portion sizes were generous, but overall it was just an average meal. I later found out that their food hygiene rating was a 1, which is concerning. Be cautious if you decide to eat here. However, after a second visit, I noticed that their food hygiene rating had improved to a 5. The food tasted much better and fresher, although some items were still not great. Overall, it was a great meal and if they continue to be consistent, I would definitely order again.

I have ordered from this restaurant several times. The food has always been delicious and hot. The delivery times have also been reasonable. I have never experienced any problems with missing items and the portions are generous. The only issue I have encountered is that sometimes the fries are a bit too crispy for my liking.

We had our doubts with the takeover of Wongs, however it has picked up greatly. This is my favourite place to have Chinese take out and I am never not impressed with the delicious food they continue to serve!
