What User likes about The Ocean:
good points: clean; chips not soggy; fish well scattered, but not over scattered; decent portions. not so good: it was not clear whether I would get kayau (what I wanted) or squid. all in all a very decent chippy, but must address the fishy problem above. View all feedback.

Not been for a good 6 months but driving by and used to use this chippy at least twice a month until I had a bad meal before, but will always give places a second chance. Had a LARGE doner kebab, in a pitta with salad and sauce. Pitta was broken up and couldn’t hold anything in, doner meat very dry/ overcooked and for a large potion at £7.30 it was a terrible quantity. Barley any salad and strangely had jalapeños in?... Fantastic chip shop we have started to get our delivered it is beautiful always hot perfect chips perfect burger scattered garlic mushrooms and scampi yes we have the perfect Friday evening dinner well made andy and katerina beautiful couple had our delivery tonight very disappointing the driver came late eating was cold unusual but spoiled dinner! drivers need more care when adapting the postal code and address

Absolutely stunning food. So glad we are able to collect food in person. Andy and Katrina are brilliant. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Word of warning go for small chips as the portions are huge but well worth the money.

Beautiful small fish and chip shop with friendly staff. This was one of the first places I tried when I moved to the area, and it definitely lived up to my expectations.
