Visited 21st Nov in the evening. Never been for food before but it was so good. Great choice and they do a Sunday carvery which will certainly be trying. Service was great and although it was busy we felt very well looked after. Had steak and ale pie and couldn’t fault it. Give this place a try. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5

We had a Christmas lunch for 15 people with pre orders of 2 or 3 courses each. Some of the meals could have done with being a bit hotter but mine was absolutely fantastic and all the meals were really nicely presented. The portion sizes were very generous for all three courses. Overall it was a great experience for a large group which isn't always the case. Price per person: £30–40
