Had booked a table here for one of the England games. They had asked for a cash deposit in advance £5 pp), refundable on the day once we arrive. Last minute decision to try this place out which is now called Spice Tree. Waited around 5 minutes for menus. Ordered drinks and waited what seemed like ages for them to arrive. When they did, pepsi tasted watery so got it changed but same thing again. Placed food order and waiter asked me to speak to chef as I wanted it made a certain way. My family of four visited this restaurant. We enjoyed the delicious starters and mains. The Salted Lassi was perfect and the Naan was unexpectedly fresh and easy to break. We ordered the Manchurian and seltzer for starters, both were excellent. Keep up the great work, we will definitely be returning.
We had a nice meal at the Spicetree, they don't have any of the service problems that the previous reviewers experience, although we went on a Saturday night at 7pm, there were two big groups when we went to eat. The food was very tasty the only small glue I would like to make is that the main dishes were really tomato that could have made with more chicken for my husband and mine. paneer
I've been to the spice tree a few times over the past couple of months. Great food and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Good value for money and would definitely recommend whether out with friends or family.
The food at this restaurant is superb and simply delicious. It is the best food I have ever had at a restaurant. I would definitely consider it one of the best restaurants in Leicester.
Went out for a family meal, straight away our table was wrong as we asked for a table of 10 !!!!. Starters got sent back as were cold in the end we had enough Left early, won't be coming back here again
