Contribute FeedbackAt Atithi Indian Restaurant in the Peepul Centre, visitors can enjoy a quieter, off-the-beaten-path Indian dining experience. While some diners have had issues with reservations and slow service, others have raved about the superb Goan fish curry and extensive, reasonably priced menu. The restaurant's colorful decor and tasty, generously portioned dishes, including the famous butter chicken, have won over many guests. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the use of cheap soft drinks, Atithi offers outstanding food quality and friendly service, making it a solid choice for a delicious and affordable meal in Leicester.
We had an amazing meal yesterday with delicious food, a variety of dishes for our group of 6. The flavors and spices were fantastic, and the portion sizes were just right. The drinks were also excellent and reasonably priced. The only downside was that there was a shortage of waitstaff, but overall, it was an excellent dining experience. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this restaurant to others!
I visited the Peepul Centre for a training day and had lunch at the Atithi Indian Restaurant on the 1st floor. The food was limited to sandwiches and chips, but they were excellent. The sandwiches (egg mayonnaise, tuna sweetcorn, Indian Chicken, cheese tomato) were tasty and the chips were of good quality and hot. The dining room is small, so I wonder how larger groups would fare. Overall, it's a good option for a quieter, off-the-beaten-path Indian dining experience.
I have visited this restaurant twice in the past 6 months. The first time was not very pleasant, but I decided to give it another chance. On both occasions, I booked a week in advance, but they did not have our reservation on file. The food was decent, but the service was terrible. It took a long time for our food to come out, and the wait for drinks was also lengthy. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
A short few words for this restaurant... Food top notch, service 110%. I am now rating this the best Indian Restaurant in Leicester. Having been to nearly every Indian restaurant in Leicester Atithi hits the mark as the best! The service was brilliant from booking a table over the phone to leaving. Outstanding.
It was our first time at the Atithi restaurant which was recommended to us by a fellow guest at a wedding. We chose Sunday lunchtime and were pleased with the food, atmosphere and the price. Parking at the Peepul Centre in which the restaurant is located was good with plenty of spaces spare. There was a large menu but the food was delivered quickly and we received ample proportions.
