Tamarind Restaurant Bar At Peepul Centre

I traveled 50 miles to train at the Peepul Centre and enjoy a Christmas Curry with my fellow students. Once again, the service, food, and welcome at Tamarind were excellent.

Recently returned to the restaurant after enjoying visiting before. Unfortunately the restaurant seems to have had a change of management and it is no way near as good as it used to be. It is a real shame because it was always somewhere I enjoyed going.

I'm glad I didn't read the last 3 reviews before we dined at this restaurant or we may have not bothered. We were so glad we did. We hired a room for a couple of days to do some interviewing and we had lunch in this restaurant both days. We were absolutely bowled over by the quality for the price. 4 of us had a substantial lunch and a drink for under £30. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was hot and well presented. I would go so far as to say, the curry was as good as any curry I'd tasted in a restaurant at more than twice the price. All in all a really great dining experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Absolutely awful, the chicken in my chicken madras was raw, reported it and they said that they would sack the chef. Got offered another dish but I just wanted to go. Got recompensed

It was my 25th Birthday and a friend had suggested to eat at the Peepul Centre Tamarind Restaurant. We saw the restaurant in October and was pleased with the service given to me and my family and the food tasters were great. On the day of my birthday my close friends and family all went here to celebrate with an evening meal. The food was: tasteless Poor customer service, most of the staff cannot speak English properly Wrong bill adding another £75 to the bill. The manager and staff were different. When I went to complain there was no reception staff apart from a security guard sat in his chair eating restaurant food himself. This was unprofessional, they security man was busy watching youtube videos and Eating at the desk that I had at this point left with my family and ventured to Feast of India. Utterly disgusting staff and no professionalism. I would no bother with this place go see this place for your self absolute rubbish!!!
