Mumbai Inn - Leicester

Great staff, passionate about eating, every dish was excellent. terrible sad to see the place so empty when it deserves to be packed. I lived in Southeast Asia, but had the best chicken tikka masala here in mumbai inn.

First visit last night after visiting Leicester for the rugby. The restaurant was very busy and we hadn’t booked but the staff were really friendly and soon found a table for us. The dishes we had were excellent and well presented. The staff were exemplary. The rugby was awful but ending up here saved the day.

I used to frequent this restaurant often when I was in Leicester for business before the pandemic. After 4 years, I returned with my wife for a social trip to see how it had held up. I was glad to see that the Mumbai Inn was still as friendly and relaxed as ever, and the food was just as delicious. One of my favorite dishes, the seafood miss mass, did not disappoint when I recommended it to my wife. I tried the matcha masala, which was also fantastic. For a high-quality Indian meal in a cozy and welcoming setting, I highly recommend the Mumbai Inn.
