While the menu presents interesting options, some diners found it a bit limited during lunchtime. Service varies; many patrons praise the friendly and attentive staff, while others experienced delays and issues that left them disappointed. The cuisine consistently receives accolades for its quality and creativity, with standout dishes like lemon chicken and sea bass. Overall, the restaurant is a charming spot with the potential for improvement, particularly in service consistency, making it a venue worth revisiting.
The restaurant in Leicester was a pleasant surprise. The interior was nicely decorated with large windows providing a bright and airy atmosphere, offering nice views of the rooftops. We visited for lunch on a Saturday and found it to be a quiet dining experience. The menu was decent, although somewhat limited for a Saturday lunch, with heavier options like lamb. The service was average, with prompt service that was neither overly friendly nor unfriendly. Overall, the restaurant could use some improvements to become a top choice for a Saturday lunch, but we still enjoyed our visit. Thank you.
The food at this restaurant was outstanding, offering a unique take on traditional ingredients. The drink options were good, especially the cocktails. The service was prompt and the staff were courteous and welcoming. I definitely plan on coming back.
The staff last night were amazing you need to hold on to those 2 girls; a real credit and as for the food, I can only say it was absolutely 5 star. I had the lemon chicken with wild garlic pesto and English asparagus followed by crisp and tart poached rhubarb with rhubarb ice cream hold on to that chef as well! My friends had the sea bass and said it too was delicious. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area.
Lovely open restaurant with delicious food. We ate here last week with my sister. They're local and often eat here, but it was our first time. Despite not having 2 of our wine choices, we found a good alternative and the food was great! Couldn't really fault anything we ate. My brother in law is coeliac and lactose intolerant, and the restaurant was so helpful they highlighted what her was able to eat.
We recently had a small wedding party at The Case. There were only 14 of us but The Case was happy to accept my booking for their function room. The room was lovely and well set out. We had a special menu and the food was delicious, all of the guests commented on their choices. The service was very good provided by friendly helpful staff. We had a lovely afternoon.
