The beers are magnifi... read more We stopped in this cafe/restaurant after whole day biking around Luebbenau. We sat at the front table and watched passing boats for hours. The beers are magnificent to the point that my husband said that next time (and there will be next time for sure) we will sit there whole day and do beer detox all day long. The food was also not bad for german standards. Regular fare with fried fish, potatoes and lots of pretty decoration. Make sure you have enough cash because you may have to bike 20 min to the nearest ATM just to find out that it takes only MasterCard. Cafe Venedig we will see you next August keep that table by the water available for us please!!!!!

The location is great, there is a big front lawn with plenty of tables and sun shades and you can enjoy the view of the paddlers and boat tours going by. It took close to 10 minutes to place our drink order and which time we said we may also have a dessert but we would think about it. She never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or the dessert at this point a good 20 minutes after we were finished our 1st drink. It was near impossible to get her attention. And it was not busy! I can 't comment on the food as we never ordered anything, sadly. There are plenty of other options along the canals, we will try another one next time.

The location is great, there is a large front grass with many tables and parasols and you can take a look at the paddlers and boat tours... from. It took almost 10 minutes to place our drink order and what time we said we could have a dessert, but we would think about it. She never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert at this point a good 20 minutes after completing our 1st drink. It was almost impossible to give her attention. And it wasn't busy! The beers are great t... read more We stayed in this cafe/restaurant after all day cycling around Luebbenau. We sat at the front table and looked at passing boats for hours. The beers are great to the point that my husband said that next time (and it will be safe next time)... we will sit there all day and detoxify beer all day. The food was also not bad for German standards. Regular farewell with fried fish, potatoes and a lot of nice decoration. Make sure you have enough money because you need to drive 20 min to the next ATM, just to find out that it only takes MasterCard. Cafe Venice we see you next August keep this table ready for us through the water!!!!
