Osteria Di Reno - Leggiuno

Osteria di Reno is a tiny restaurant in the village of Reno, Leggiuno. They offer an all-inclusive menu, that is incredibly good value, especially as it includes the wine with the meal. The food is basic home cooking, and plentiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Situated on a side street in Reno this restaurant offers traditional dishes, one dish highlighted each night. Known in the area as a 'family ' restaurant. When we visited there were no other tourists. It seems most tourists who visit this area come from Germany or the Netherlands as no English, French or Spanish was spoken by any of the wait staff. While the servings were ample, they were in no way memorable. There were several fish options offered. Prices were reasonable. There is a gelateria across the street that has excellent sorbets. Another time I would opt to eat at the restaurant near the beach with had a lovely view and more food choices.

Cibo buono anzi buonissimo, camerieri gentili e preparati! Consigliato!

Capitati per caso, abbiamo trovato sulla strada questa osteria; ambiente semplice ma una cucina ottima, accompagnata da un'ospitalità cordiale e accogliente. Piatti tipici, a base di pesce di lago, davvero spettacolari. Consigliatissima!!

Una grandissima scoperta a pochi passi per visitare l'eremo. Locale che sa di famiglia, la signora è gentilissima e si mangia bene in un contesto da osteria che ti riporta a goderti il buon tempo che fu. Io se ripasso per la sponda lombarda del Lago Maggiore ci ritorno!!! Bravi!!
