Spent two nights here while working locally. The room was advertised as a queen room yet the bed was a double. A single chair without any other seating. Wallpap... read more Spent two nights here while working locally. The room was advertised as a queen room yet the bed was a double. A single chair without any other seating. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and it was evident that the bathroom had been recently renovated as the timber architraves were unpainted and without timber putty. No microwave or toaster in the room as well. The most disappointing part of the stay was the $30 lamb cutlet meal. It was listed on the menu as three cutlets yet when it was served it came out as a mini three cutlet rack. At best 150 grams with 30% being fat. The additional $4 green salad was brown, no onion, one cherry tomato and a lot of shredded carrot. Overall a comfortable place, a lot of history to it and a complimentary continental breakfast well stocked. Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet
