While we opted not to have the complime... read more We had a wonderful time at the Hydro. It was great to discover a place with such old-world charm at an affordable price. While we opted not to have the complimentary breakfast—since the options were all packaged—we appreciated having a kitchen in our room where we could prepare our own meals. The food at the bar and restaurant, however, was excellent. Some of the decor from the renovations could have been more in tune with the hotel's history, but we understand the challenges that come with such a large project. Unfortunately, we learned that the owner/manager passed away shortly after our stay. We hope the Hydro continues to thrive and contribute to the unique character of the Leeton area.

The food was excellent, the venue was perfect, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We have already booked for the Art Deco Festival in July. Overall, I would rate the rooms: 5/5, service: 5/5, and location: 5/5. Highly recommended!
