Not Your Average Joe's Woodbridge

Went here when the restaurant across the street was full. There was no wait getting a table; it was about half full.There weren't many low calorie food options on the menu. I got the chicken caesar wrap and was a little disappointed that the chicken was way over cooked. I'm sure it was also dry, but couldn't really tell with the amount of dressing in it. I've had grocery store chicken caesar wraps with chicken that wasn't cooked into hard chewing gum.The pricing is also an issue. My caesar wrap was $18 and my wife's sirloin tips were $30 (she was not impressed). That, with the size of the sides, was a bit odd. We've paid less elsewhere for more, and better food.Overall, it seems like it's trying to do the bar food thing...without the bar food prices. While also trying to be upscale?... The whole experience was just really weird to me.If they ever refresh their menu and adjust their prices (and don't cook their chicken into oblivion), I'd likely go back. For now, it's a no for me. Vegetarian options: I don't know how to describe it other than, it seems like they begrudgingly added them to the menu. Parking: There's easier to find parking behind the building.

Stopped by for a date with my husband. As soon as we walked in we were attentively welcomed and seated. The service was excellent and so was the food. I loved the variety on the menu and really liked that they are very allergy friendly! Our kids have food allergies so I will be coming back with them next time. Overall we had a great time!

We always have great service and the food is always excellent! Our only complaint is that there is never enough bread and dip! We could seriously make meal on that amazing stuff!!! We love the Woodbridge Not Your Average Joe's!!

NYAJ has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I have not been in a couple of years and I was disappointed. It's no longer the thriving place it used to be to be. The service was lacking and no spirit of teamwork and every man for themselves. We were not checked on and the personality of our server was flat. We had to ask someone else for a refill and that seemed to be an inconvenience and that was because our server only robotically came to either take order, bring drink, bring food, bring check. The prices have inflated drastically and I am sure between the lack of service, spirit, and food hike...why I see an empty restaurant on a Saturday night. I rated higher than I should have.

Overall it was ok. I had a reservation and walk in diners were seated before my party. When we were seated we were pretty much thrown to a table near the front door that wasn't ready to be seated. There was no silverware nor appetizer plates which appeared to catch our server off guard when we were asking for those things after being served bread for the table. Then the food came and it was just ok. The server was great and I hope that this was the standard and if it is that would bring me back on occasion but the food was just mediocre and I know for my plate (ordered the zucchini frite) it was rather messy and I could make better at home. Everyone else said their food was good so maybe my dish was just an outlier.
