Place was rated higher than other Korean places in the city, so I decided to try it. I'm glad. I had the Jajameung noodles. Yummy. Place is very clean looking and type of diner style. Very cozy. View all feedback.
Had the pig Bogogi, Gurke and Kohl Kimchi. Bulgogi was well cooked, beautiful taste, not too spicy. Maybe a little more spice needed. Cucumbers and cabbage were less kimchi and more salad. Very crisp. Maybe they were fresh, but usually they are a little softer and spicier. It was good.
Every time I came to this place, it was one, I dare say, 'Great starlight'! Also on this occasion, during this pandemic, the manager/owner took necessary precautions to ensure safety and this with a joyful way. As always, she is particularly friendly and keeps the diner style atmosphere. It is a great place for family and friends, even a place for business partners to sit for a quiet place to enjoy in their spare time. Definitely a must in such a city!
Delicious food and great service. My family and I stopped in here for lunch and we're glad we did. We all ordered different things starlite special, sweet and sour chicken, kalbi and rice, and udong noodles...along with cabbage kimchi and cucumber kimchi. Personally, I thought the starlight special was the best dish and the cucumber kimchi was AMAZING.....and this is coming from someone who typically avoids kimchi like the plague because of flavor and spice level. ISide Note it's been 5 months and I'm still raving about the cucumber kimchi! The owners were so kind and wonderful to talk to. Being from Houston, we have wide selection of Korean restaurants to choose from, so we were quite impressed with the food here. Definitely recommend giving this place a try and make sure to get the starlite special!
Listen one out of two spots in Leesville I'd go to. Absolutely delicious, feels like home. Bring at least $40-$60 cash though (dining for 2). Totally worth it
The absolutely best food I have ever ate my family and I literally drive 35 mins to justget it
