No matter if it's burger night, steak night, or any night in between, I highly recommend Chef Ryan at Audrey Pearls Soul Food Kitchen. Whether he's cooking up seafood, meats, veggies, or spaghetti, his dishes never disappoint. You may even have the chance to meet Ms. Audrey herself, who clearly influences the chef's welcoming and friendly attitude.
Great food and service. Chef Ryan was running the shop himself (cashier, chef, bussing tables) and all with a smile for his customers. Even took the time to check on my table to ensure we had everything we needed.Generous portions! My friend’s wings were larger than the average sports bar for sure. And my fish had a thin batter, but extra crispy. Mac and collards were on point.Just passing through, but will definitely return if I return to the area!
Stopped by on a Thursday evening about 7:30 pm. We walked in and were greeted right away. They were busy so we waited just a couple of minutes to order. We ordered a pizza and a catfish plate with fries. The pizza was good and the catfish was fresh not frozen and the portion was huge. The service was great as well. This will be a frequent stop when we pass through the area.
1st time we got food here we were not very impressed. Decided to give them another chance. Very glad we did. Not only was the food very good but for the price there was a good size portion.
First time here and will certainly not be my last! I walked up and after looking at the menu said I'd like the catfish. He said he was all out of fish but had shrimp so I went with that (I'm pescatarian). I asked if the collards were made with meat and he said they are made to order so he could make them any way I'd like. When he brought my meal out to me he also handed me back $7 because he said they didn't have enough shrimp for a full order. The shrimp were delicious as were the collards and fried okra. The place has a good neighborly feel and we were all having great conversations with each other (there were 5 others in the dining area with me).Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating and made my collards without using meat.
