Bellissimo! Great sandwiches at this Deli. Deli opens exactly 10 o'clock. Clean inside and nice greeting. I will definitely repeat! Two days in a row! Gentleman reminded me and greeted me nicely. ’Diablo italian’ is the one everyone has to try! Thank you, Primo! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Primohoagies:
Waited 3-4 minutes at an empty counter for someone to take my order. Manager was talking loudly with a group of people that must have been family. $11 for 4 small meatballs for is a little rough. The cheese was very good, but only the meatballs were warm. The tiny household over full trashcan was an interesting choice for a restaurant. View all feedback.
Promos has some good Philly style Hoagies... For me this is the first sandwich shop in NoVa
I have the Primo Italian and it was delicious! It had taste and was fresh. The bread had an incredible crust and was also tasteful. I'll eat again! Very recommended
Undoubtedly the best sandwich shop in Virginia, Primo Hoagies heals from South Philly, home of Hoagie. The meat pieces are freshly cut to order, the prices are excellent (especially for gourmet quality and when discounts are used from their loyalty program), and the rolls are exceptional. The only drawbacks are that the franchise has recently changed from Coke to Pepsi, and there is only this single spot in the entire state of VA.
The meatball sub was excellent. The meatballs are solid, well spiced and the sauce is slightly tangy. And the bread! Probably some of the best bread I've ever had. The chicken parmesan sub (I had a bite...or two) was also excellent. These are probably some of the best hoagies I've ever had! Highly recommended!
I have eaten here few times every time it was good but I wouldn't say great if you're in the market for an overpriced Italian sandwich this is our spot. The food is good and of the highest quality which is the main factor in the price. It seems like a family-owned business an employee's that really care about the quality of the product they're producing. Every time I go there I've had something different but the turkey Diablo has been by far my favorite. If you plan on eating here expect to pay 10 to $15 for a sandwich.
