My friend and I came here last week and were the first. They greeted us so beautiful and were very welcoming. We ordered our drinks that were perfect and sat on some comfortable chairs with our feet in the sand. Apps came shortly after and they were DELICIOUS! Especially the Pommes! 100% recommended and will come back!!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Macdowell's Beach:
Seemed like an interesting place and would've loved to experience the vibe. However, we got there just after 8pm on a Sunday to find out they had already closed the kitchen. I'm not sure if that's the norm. The place was packed and it was open for 2 more hours. Perhaps post something on your website about kitchen hours if they are going to be different from operating hours. View all feedback.
John and Matt are the best bartenders. They go above And beyond and are extremely friendly. Also Gabe is an awesome server!
I love this place. A tiki/beach bar in Leesburg? Amazing! Usually great live music and all the folks that work there are so nice. Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is their hours are a little wonky and it's hard to find info online--it's clearly a family-run business so, for example, their online hours say 12pm to 10 pm for Saturdays, but last Saturday we tried to go by at 2:30 and it wasn't open--still wasn't open around 3:30 pm. It would be nice if they would post something or mention why they aren't open! Or change hours on the website.
What a great getaway in the heart of Leesburg. Go for the live music. Food is great. Atmosphere is amazing. Fun, fun, fun.

I love this place!! It’s a little bit of the Key west in Leesburg. Sundays Steel drumming band just makes it even more atmospheric ??
