Buford's Biscuits

Description

Buford’s Biscuits is a cozy, hometown gem famed for oversized “cathead” biscuits, inventive gravies (chipped beef shines), and a sweet‑tea–brined Nashville hot chicken. Generous portions, an exceptional mac-and-cheese, seasonal local ingredients, and friendly service create a relaxed brunch destination—though weekend waits and slightly high prices are common. Biscuits vary from pillowy to dense or crusty, and some condiments (molasses butter, hush puppies) divide diners. Simple self‑serve coffee and curated cocktails round out the casual, comforting experience.

I have been a patron of this place since it opened. The quality of everything they serve is very high. I appreciate that they take their time to ensure your order will be perfect. Honestly, even the coffee they serve is of top quality and quite tasty(I'd rather drink their coffee than that of some of the local coffee shops). The chicken they serve is delicious due to theirbrine. I typically order the Nashville biscuit and it has always been delicious. Sometimes it's spicier than others (made freshdaily), today was extra spicy which I really enjoyed, the cole and house brined pickles balance it out just right. We also had aCure biscuit today, man, the gravy, poached egg, and chicken were on freaking point, just plain good. It's a place I make aneffort to recommend to others and bring family when they visit. I highly recommend it just for the food. I could also recommendit just based on the folks that work there, they are always kind and inviting, especially Charles. The quality and taste areworth the price. Great place!

The biscuits here are absolutely delicious! When placing our order, we were told we may have to wait up to 45 minutes due to the busy brunch rush. However, we only had to wait about 20 minutes in the end! The biscuits were absolutely delicious and sofilling; if it weren't so delicious, I probably would have eaten half and saved the other half for later! I ordered the Bufordand also tried the Nashville. The service was very friendly and the restaurant has a nice vibe.

Fantastic place to have lunch! Biscuits here are the cathead type, because they're literally as big as a cat's head. Despite being called a sandwich, they are best enjoyed with a little fork and knife action. We had the Cure and Buford's Biscuits, andthey're just as delicious as they look, if not better. Big enough to satisfy our appetites, almost had enough for leftovers! We'll definitely be back to try the other offerings.

I knew I was going to like this place when I saw that they brine their chicken in sweet tea and only use chicken thighs. And wow was that chicken delicious. The biscuit was good but not as good as I had hoped. It was rather dense and dry in the middle, butit's one big biscuit so I guess that shouldn't surprise me. I really, really liked their chipped beef gravy with the biscuitsand would definitely order that again. Their mac and cheese was good yet still leaves you wanting more due to the small portionsize. The one thing I did not enjoy was the hush puppies. Not that or the butter it came with.. just wasn't for me. Theirservice was fantastic and next time I find myself in Leesburg before 2pm I'm definitely going back for that chicken.

I was quite impressed by the quality of the food. The biscuits were larger than I had anticipated. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the ambiance is excellent.
