Contribute Feedback What Brookelyn F doesn't like about Where The Partys At:
The woman who was checking me out was very rude and acted like i was an inconvenience because I was unsure of the balloons and weights that i wanted to use. Even when I was paying her she just had a rude short tone with me. I figured maybe she was just having a bad day until she helped the 2 ladies after me while I waited for my balloons. Poor communication and lackluster service. I originally purchased the balloons for my kiddo 's birthday party and told the clerk upfront I only wanted to purchase the balloons today and I 'd come back closer to the party date to have them blown up. The associate then proceeded to take my phone number, address. I asked them why this was necessary and they said it 's for the balloon service. I repeated that I was going to purchase the balloons today and come back another day to have them blown up, I didn 't require the service they offered. They then said Oh, OK and declined that part of the transaction. I come back for the balloons to be blown up and the clerk tells me it 's going to be a 3 hour wait. I ask why it will take 3 hours to blow up a few balloons and they said since I didn 't pay for the balloon service I was in the back of the line from everyone else that paid for their service. I was frustrated at this point because that wasn 't communicated to me during the balloon purchase. So I hand them the balloons, I come back in 3 hours and the clerk won 't say a word to me. They look me directly in the eye and refuse to speak to me. I speak up and say I 'm here to pick up my order. Someone else comes over to help me and I get my balloons and I 'm on my way. Ultimately, the customer service and communication is poor. If I had another option to get my party supplies I would go there. This store is a necessary evil.
If I could give 0 stars I would, I was sooooo disappointed in the service we had received yesterday afternoon here. I had orders custom balloons for my sons 6th birthday football themed party, had came to get them blown up. Upon entering we had waited 15 minutes to be greeted and served. Then waiting another 15 minutes for our order to still not be serviced. An associate came and asked if had been helped, and we stated no, she then proceeded to process our order. Then the manager Jennifer came up and rudely told her Stop blowing up their order, we have 5 other orders you can be working on, they can wait I was truly disgusted in this behavior from a so called manager. We asked for our refund and was taking our business elsewhere, she then rudely asked why we need a refund, I will not be doing business here and will be calling headquarters.
A Pandemic Halloween Sitting just south of the Sam Walton Wal-Mart Super Center, Party City takes up an entire building and shares a parking lot with Pets Mart. So it is easy in and easy out. Trying to keep all the hype about shortages in check while we strived to make this Halloween an enjoyable event for the local trick-or-treaters, we slipped into Party City to finish our preparations. As such, we were looking for a few selected props that we could not find in other stores. Coming through the door I stopped a staff member and asked her for the number 1 item on our list. She cocked her head and said, we are sold out, but how about something similar? It turned out her suggestion was both less expensive and a better match that our original item. As we finally moved on to our final item we were intently going over almost every item on another isle. Another staff member appeared and asked if she could help. It turned out that she also suggested a similar item that again was less expensive and a better match to our wants! Then she asked if there was anything else we were looking for. To our answer of No she said I can check you out right now. It was so refreshing to find staff so helpful (even more so because they were easily pretty young) and eager to help us. Kudo 's to Party City 's management and staff for helping us do our part in trying to make Halloween enjoyable for our prior isolated neighborhood trick-or-treaters once again.
The employees are nice and helpful. The store is well kept and anything out of place is corrected quickly.
This woman was a larger one, and I'm pretty tiny, trying to gain weight, actually. She was very kind to the other 2 women and even went about showing one of the ladies different balloons and looking for a specific one for her. So long story short, if ur skinny, don't expect her to be nice to you or smile? Just a disgusted (jealous) look.
