Reviews - Sawmill
Reviews summary
A roadside, family-friendly spot serving generous, freshly made breakfasts and standout desserts at wallet-friendly prices. Counter-order service, a tiny indoor dining room, outdoor seating and ample parking make it convenient for travelers and families, though limited staff can mean waits. Guests praise portions and value but warn of occasional cleanliness and service lapses and minimal management. Best to temper expectations: come for comforting breakfast fare and great ice cream, and be patient during busy times.

Nice local establishment! The food is fine for what it is. The deserts and ice cream are very good, the food is fair, nothing to write home about but if you’re hungry it’s a good value. Outdoor seating and lots of parking, inside the restaurant is tiny and a bit cramped. Staff were nice to us as we were passing through. Excellent service and food. Employees are friendly and orders are served in a timely manner. The grilled chicken sandwich is excellent.

So much was bad I'm not sure where to start. We have never had to ask for our money back at any restaurant in my 40 years of being on this earth but we did this time. First several were tables dirty. Then they come out and just throw your silverware in a pile on the table. Which we found some uncleaned with food still on them. We said something to the young kid. He had an attitude. Then he cleaned tables when done he walked straight back and handled our food without washing his hands. We say something he calls us liars and goes in the back complaining to the other lady there. You could hear him yelling. We get the food. It was horrible looking. The biscuits and gravy were something you see served in prison. The only thing good we could say about this establishment is they gave us our money back after loads of attitude. No management anywhere just to younger people.
Great foods, ice cream, desserts, staff, and atmosphere. New Lottery machine. Parking: Large parking lots Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant

Outdoor seating and lots of parking, inside the restaurant is tiny and a bit cramped. Staff were nice to us as we were passing through. While I was not overly excited about the place I can not say anything negative. It’s not a full restaurant, and it’s not a Dairy Queen either. So temper your expectations and enjoy it for what it is.
An absolute gem along the roadside that won’t break the bank! My family of four visited for lunch and ended up spending less (including the tip) than we would have at any fast food restaurant. I highly recommend trying the dessert! Kid-friendly atmosphere: perfect for families. Wheelchair accessible: everything is on a flat surface, though there are no automatic doors.

The food is good. Service can hit and miss. Eating area could be cleaner dead flies on window sills.
