Absolutely fantastic. We decided to make a reservation after reading Jay Rayner's review, and we were not let down at all. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The pricing was fair considering the quality of the food. The wine list was impressive, with a great variety available by the glass or carafe, which was ideal for our lunch. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a meal as much as I did here.
There are some meals that stay with you from childhood, like liver, bacon, and mash, that suddenly reappear in adulthood, transformed into something truly remarkable. Zucco, located in a quiet corner of Meanwood in Leeds, is a restaurant where you can experience this kind of culinary magic with delicious Italian dishes. The traditional liver and bacon dish is given a modern twist at Zucco, with tender calves' liver served on creamy mashed potatoes and topped with a light mushroom sauce and crispy prosciutto. The menu at Zucco is so enticing that you may feel tempted to simply order everything. This restaurant offers a dining experience that is not just Italian, but also inspired by Italian flavors, making it a truly exceptional place to enjoy a meal.
The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff was brilliant, and the atmosphere was great. I would even go as far as to say it was the best meal I have ever had.

Went again last night with friends and the food and service are consistently great. Still the best in Leeds. Arancini to die for.
