We often stop here for light refreshments with the Wetherby U3A cycling group. The café is aimed at elderly people in the local area [I am only 77 of course]. The ladies who run the café are all volunteers, and I think they make the cakes and scones themselves. Good for a light snack but not open every day. View all feedback.
We received an excellent welcome at WISE restaurant, with friendly staff and a delicious range of cakes and hot drinks. The facilities are easily accessible at the front of the hall, with disabled access available. The food is very good and reasonably priced. We always have a great time when we visit, and we appreciate the restaurant's philosophy of supporting the elderly with their profits. We highly recommend WISE to others.
After taking a stroll along the riverbank, my friend and I visited this cafe. We were warmly greeted by the two ladies serving and promptly given menus. We each ordered a decaf cappuccino and a piece of cake, which was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be returning. It's just unfortunate that they are only open midweek for three days!
This restaurant in Boston Spa offers the best hospitality, service, cakes, and coffee for a group of cyclists passing through. The establishment has both indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as bike racks for convenience.
Came here for brunch with my baby and partner. My partner and I were greeted immediately by friendly staff and were given menus. We both ordered the full English breakfast and two coffees. I could not fault either. Extremely friendly staff and fresh food. Including some amazing cakes on offer. Will be returning.
I frequently go to the wise owl café in Boston Spa. The food and drink always excellent especially toasted teacake. I'm bacon butty which I often choose. The cakes are yummy as well. Tea and coffee always come hot. The staff and very good as well. Always friendly efficient and helpful. Access for wheelchairs can be rather difficult but much easier through the village hall doors instead of the little side corridor with 90 degree turning straight into the cafe. Well worth a visit. I can highly recommend to anybody.
