We each... read more After taking a stroll along the riverbank, my friend and I visited this cafe. We were warmly greeted by the two ladies serving and promptly given menus. We each ordered a decaf cappuccino and a piece of cake, which was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be returning. It's just unfortunate that they are only open midweek for three days!

The facilities are easily accessible at the front of the hall, with disabled access available. The food is very good and reasonably priced. We always have a great time when we visit, and we appreciate the restaurant's philosophy of supporting the elderly with their profits. We highly recommend WISE to others.

We use... read more The Wise Owl is run by volunteers who make the cakes etc., Always a happy bunch of servers. The café is inside the village hall, with plenty of parking. We use it as s top for our U3A cycle group, and have a stop for coffee and cake, always enjoyable and very good value.
